<description>Though there are some compelling new features, such as improved Office 2007 support, better performance on Vista, enhancements, and the ability to retain formatting when copying and pasting from the virtual buffer in applications like Internet Explorer, I do not feel this feature set warrants a 9.0 version designation and the corresponding ding against our SMA counts! Most of this new functionality is simply catch up to a couple of other screen reader makers (GW Micro and Serotek) who have been innovating in Office 2007 and Windows Vista. JAWS customers are being expected to pay for catch ups. It still seems that, by and large, Freedom Scientific is not doing a sufficient amount of innovating to provide us with real accessibility to technologies like AJAX and all the currently inaccessible workplace apps such as Salesforce.com, SAP, Siebel, etc.
